OUR PROJECTS
Backpack Empowerment Project
It’s not just a backpack, It’s hope……and every empowered child wins!
It’s inspiring to see how a simple gesture of providing backpacks filled with essential educational materials can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. By empowering underprivileged children to stay in school and succeed academically, we are not only promoting quality education (SDG 4) but also reducing inequalities (SDG 10) and eradicating poverty (SDG 1).
With these backpacks, we are addressing the issue of lack of access to basic educational resources, which is a major barrier to achieving quality education for all. By providing children with books, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, and rulers, we are ensuring that they have everything they need to actively participate in and benefit from their schoolwork.
Moreover, we are proud to support local artisans who produce these backpacks, which not only promotes local employment and economic growth but also contributes to responsible consumption and production (SDG 12). The backpacks feature our national flag colours, promoting a sense of national pride and cultural heritage (SDG 11).
By bridging the gap between privileged and underprivileged children, we are promoting a more inclusive and equitable society (SDG 10). We believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. Together, let’s work towards a world where every child has access to quality education and the chance to reach their full potential.
Each backpack is filled with Exercise books, Pencils, Pens, Eraser, Ruler, Sharpener

1 Million Parents Birth Kit Project
No mother should die while giving life.
In rural communities with limited healthcare providers and hard-to-reach health facilities, safe delivery for pregnant women can feel like a far-off dream. But our birth kits are here to change that. Our kits contain everything needed for a safe delivery, even in the absence of a physical health facility. We believe that every mother deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of where they live. By distributing birth kits, we’re not only improving maternal health and reducing poverty, but we’re also making progress towards a more sustainable world in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Our birth kits are made in Ghana, using the national flag colours, symbolizing that every woman who gives birth gives birth to her nation and community. The kits are reusable and promote responsible consumption and production, contributing to SDG 12. We aim to transform parenting by providing knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring between rural and urban communities, promoting SDG 3. By creating a network of parents, we’re making progress towards quality education, SDG 4, and promoting gender equality, SDG 5.
We believe that every mother has the power to change her community and her nation simply by bringing new life into the world. With our birth kits, we’re giving them the tools they need to do just that, promoting SDG 1 – No Poverty.
Our birth kits are more than just a set of basic necessities. They represent hope, progress, and a brighter future for mothers and their babies. We’re proud to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and make a positive impact on the world, one birth kit at a time.
Each kit contains:
Cord Clamps, Sterile gloves, Scalpel blade, Bed mat, Mackintosh, Baby onesie, Baby hat, Baby welcome dress, Cot sheet, Baby powder, Baby soap, Baby sponge, Baby socks, Sanitary pad, Disinfectant, Parazone

Confidence Kits (Girls & Boys)
In rural communities in Ghana, girls often miss classes because they cannot afford sanitary pads. This is known as period poverty, and it is a real issue that affects many girls in these communities. It is not just a matter of convenience, but a matter of dignity.
Girls who cannot manage their periods with dignity often feel ashamed, embarrassed, and self-conscious, which can lead to low self-esteem and lack of confidence. This, in turn, can impact their academic performance and their overall well-being. To address this issue, we have developed a confidence kit that contains personal hygiene essentials that are starter packs for rural girls and boys to take care of their bodies. The goal of this kit is to improve the self-confidence of adolescent youth in rural communities, and to prioritize personal hygiene as key to achieving good health and well-being (SDG 3).
The confidence kit includes sanitary pads for girls, as well as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other personal hygiene essentials for both girls and boys. By providing these basic necessities, we can help rural youth take care of their bodies and prioritize their health and well-being.
In addition to the confidence kit, we also provide sister-to-sister and brother-to-brother conversations and motivation from mentors who will visit their community. These conversations and motivation will help inspire young people in these communities to take charge of their own health and well-being. Our goal is to make a real difference in the lives of adolescent youth in rural communities, by empowering them with the tools and knowledge they need to take care of their bodies and prioritize their health and well-being. By doing so, we can help achieve SDG 3 and create a brighter future for all.

Kids Reading Party
There is fun and there is productive fun.
We all know that education is the key to unlocking a better future for our children. However, for many children in rural communities, access to books and other educational resources is a challenge. This is where our innovative reading concept comes in. Our kids’ reading party is not just about having fun; it is about inspiring a love for reading in children from a young age.
By promoting group reading and sharing stories, we are helping these children to develop critical thinking skills, expand their knowledge, and broaden their horizons. Moreover, our reading party aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly goal #4 – Quality Education. By providing access to books and encouraging children to read, we are contributing to the goal of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all. We also involve the community, including teachers, in our project because we believe that education is a collaborative effort. By working together, we can ensure that these children continue to have access to educational resources even after the party is over.
This is the kind of sustainable development that we aim to achieve. So if you want to be part of this amazing cause, please consider donating books, food, biscuits, drinks, and party supplies to our reading party. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these children and help them to achieve their dreams.
